Hi. I’m Florentyna.
For those who don’t know me, I’m a professional golfer with multiple wins on the Ladies European Tour.
My father is a professional golfer, so I started playing from a young age. At the age of 13 I had my debut representing England and finished my amateur career representing GB&I in the Curtis Cup at St. Andrews in 2008.
The following year I attended Ladies European Tour Qualifying School and managed to graduate on my first attempt and secured my playing rights for 2009. I finished second on the ‘Rookie of the Year’ ranking after having two Top10 finishes.
My maiden win came the following year at the ABN AMRO Ladies Open along with 7 Top Ten finishes in 2010, finishing 8th on the Order of Merit. The next 3 seasons I had 20 Top 20 finishes before my second win came at the Italian Ladies Open in Perugia in 2014.
Securing my win with an ‘albatross’ in the final round, which is the first ever to be recorded on the Ladies European Tour. I finished the season with a couple more Top10s and in 9th position on the Order of Merit.
My highlight in 2015 was finishing 2nd in the first tournament of the year at the RACV Ladies Masters.
2016 was my best season to date, recording 8 Top10 finishes, representing the LET at the Queen’s Cup in Japan and finishing 3rd on the Order of Merit.
The only thing I didn’t do 2016 was win, but accomplished the mission in 2017. Winning my third title at the Estrella Damm Mediterranean Ladies Open and qualifying for the Solheim Cup.
This year will be my 13th year on tour. You will also see me playing in Asia on the KLPGA and other international events to continue my journey around the globe.
So you are welcome to follow my progress and please keep your fingers crossed for another amazing year!
Florentyna
